In series of intensive activities at the ongoing Sabo Sagamu Youth Day 2021 Anniversary which was tagged “Unity Of Purpose”, Umar Sidi, a secondary school student from Onalesi Association, Sabo Sagamu, has emerged as the overall winner among the 20 registered secondary school students participants of the maiden edition of Sabo Sagamu Youth Day 2021 Universal Basic Examination.
The examination which commenced today, Saturday, February 19th, 2022 at the youth secretariat situated at Onijoku Town Hall, featured various secondary school students across all the registered youth associations under the umbrella of Association Of Sabo Sagamu Youth Leaders (ASSYL).
The Universal Basic Examination, which was part of activities to mark Sabo Sagamu Youth Day 2021 anniversary have quality broadcasting across the state while also creating a platform to develop the psychological abilities of the youths, was broadcast live by GENESIS MEDIA HOUSE.
Speaking at the program, Comr. Olusola Bashiru Aina, the President of Association Of Sabo Sagamu Youth Leaders (ASSYL), who congratulated the finalists for their courage to make it through the various rounds of the exam said he was confident that the experiences garnered from the program will be cherished.
Also speaking, Comr. Ayoola Oluwole Aduroja, the Acting Coordinator of National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) Sagamu Branch, who was the Chief Examiner of the exam, appreciate the youth body ASSYL for bringing this kind of event to the limelight of the students while he. also used the medium to address the students and also encourage them to be a good ambassadors of their family, school, association and the society as a whole.
“Umar Sidi from Onalesi, Taiwo Aliyat from Sodeinde, Chukweuyere Ogechi from GRA, Oduntan Mustapha from Odi Olowo, Sulaimon Mujeeb from Sofowora, Ayuba Mariam from Oremeji, Umar Saudat from Hausa Community, Alli Fathia from Eniola, Lawal Bazeet from Awojiro and Ogundare Omoyeni from Ogededudu”, are the top 10 winner’s of the examination, the Acting Coordinator said while announcing the final score card results of all the participant students.
