The 25th Obaruwa Festival (Festival of Arts and Culture) have reached Day 2, today Tuesday 7th, February 2023, with Cultural Show and Ijala Performances as the activities of the Day 2 event held at the Ewusi of Makun Palace, Sagamu, with several high chiefs of the community, traditional rulers and amiable personalities also in attendance.

Part of the activities witnessed in the cultural events was the show of display by the Osanyin Deity, the performance of magic by the Makun’s Magicians which turns several items to sweet and many more, was also witnessed by majority Youths, Old Aged, Indigenes and Non Indigenes of the community.

After the show of the Cultural display, therein was the presentations  of the Ijala shows by the Hunter’s Association of Makun, which started in grand style and ended with a lot of dancing, singing, chanting and drumming, having the Royal Highness, Alayeluwa Oba Timothy Oyesola Akinsanya; The Ewusi of Makun Kingdom, Sagamu, in attendance with other prominent high chiefs, sons and daughters of the Makun community.

In addition, Genesis Media House reported that the Day 3 of the 25th Obaruwa Festival continues on Wednesday, 7th February, 2023,  with the Artisan Day, Royal Dinner and Award Night which will kick start by 8:00 pm, as the event activities of the day.
