Sagamu Local Government legislator, Hon. Idris Oluwaseun Awoderu representing the good people of Ward 7 (Ijagba), has felicitated with all indigenes, relatives, constituents and Muslims faithfuls in Ijagba and entire Sagamu Local Government on the occasion of this year’s Eid al-Adha celebration, urged them to celebrate with modesty, be law-abiding and to show commitment, empathy and sacrifice which the sacred season exemplified.

In his goodwill statements made available to commemorate the occasion, Hon. Awoderu said, “I felicitates with all our Muslim brothers and sisters, especially my constituents in Ward 7, Ijagba, area of Sagamu Local Government and the entire Muslims Community in the State a very happy Eid-El-Kabir celebration. AWO as he’s fondly call, reiterated his call for sustained prayers for the leadership of this country at all levels, so that God in his infinite mercy will continue to guide them as they steer the leadership of this Nation with the fear of God.

While wishing the Muslims Ummah a happy celebration, the Honorable Member who also doubled as the Chairman, House Committee on Youth & Employments, charge them to imbibe the lessons of sacrifice, patience and faith as demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim in the cause of his earthly journey.

“At this trying period of our journey through nationhood, I urge you all to seize the opportunity which this season brings to us to promote peaceful co-existence among ourselves regardless of religion, ethnicity or political affiliation. May the season be delightful and the moments therein be joyous for all of us and may the years ahead be fruitful for your home and family”, Hon. Idris Awoderu concluded.
