Yayi in a statement released to the press stated that the supply and energization of the transformers are part of the fulfilment of his campaign promises to his constituents adding that before these set of supply and energization of transformers, 28 other communities have benefited from similar facilitation in the last one year.

“The facilitation of transformers for communities hitherto in darkness was based on the requests I received during the campaigns in 2023 and subsequently through letters from community development associations and royal fathers.

“They are part of my “Light Up Ogun West” agenda programme aimed at bringing electricity to the nooks and crannies of my Senatorial district” he stated.

In his conclusion, Yayi stated that the current energization programme is expected to be completed in about a month time.
