The Indigenous Youth’s in Remo Land, area of Ogun State, has elected new executive members into the Remo Youth Association (RYA). RYA is an apex youth body that comprises of all Youth Leaders across all the thirty-three (33) towns in Remo Land, which her sole objectives is to collectively facilitates developmental project, promoting peace and unity among the youths in Remo Land.
The election, handing over and swearing-in of the newly executive’s was held at Alakene Palace, Ikenne Remo, Ogun State, on Sunday, 16th January 2022, GENESIS MEDIA HOUSE report.
According to the candidates list which was posted online, 11 people were elected into different positions to take over the leadership of the RYA.
Below are the list of the newly elected executives and their portfolio:-
1. Yaya Onagbesan – Chairman
2. Ola Babatunde – Vice Chairman 1
3. Ismail Adekunle – Vice Chairman 2
4. Muyiwa Osularu – General Secretary
5. Omotayo Awodero – Assistant General Secretary
6. Temitope Ogundein – Treasurer
7. Tomisin Sobukunola – Organizing Secretary
8. Dolapo Banwo – Public Relations Officer
9. Yetunde Lawani – Social Secretary 1
10. Femi Adetayo – Sport Director
11. Olayinka Sunday – Auditor
