Yesterday, Monday, January 31st, 2022, the leadership of Association Of Sabo Youth Leaders (ASYL) led by Comr. Olusola Bashiru Aina (a.k.a BESHY) unveiled the new vest for the 2021 maiden edition of Sabo Youth Day in honor of the ASYL annual youth anniversary which comes up on February 19th – February 26th, 2022.

Speaking to a newsmen from GENESIS MEDIA HOUSE, the able president, Comr. Aina stated that the Sabo Youth Day (2021 Edition) vest is now available for sale at an affordable rate of Two Thousand, Five Hundred Naira Only (₦2,500) while he also urge all youths to partake in buying the vest.

“This year edition will have a lots of programs such as sport competitions, quiz & debate competitions, empowerments, raffle draws, awards ceremony, donations and visitations to the orphanage homes, old people, and many more programs”, the president said.

While speaking, Comr. Beshy also made it known that the draws for the football competitions will hold tomorrow, Tuesday, February 2nd, 2022 at the ASYL secretariat at Onijokun Hall, Sabo Sagamu by 4:00pm while the football matches will kick start on Saturday, February 5th, 2022 at Muslim High School, Sabo Sagamu by 4:00 pm and all other football matches will also be played at the same venue.

When asked about the star artiste that will be performing live at the event, Comr. Bashiru added that plans and negotiations are ongoing concerning one music star to invite but t is likely to be either Alhaji Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, Q-dot or Portable Zaazu. Also, security officers will also be provided throughout the start of the event till the grand finale ceremony day for peace making and to safeguard the event against any vices, the president assured all the youths.

In conclusion, the president also plead to all dignitaries and wealthy personalities in Sagamu and the diaspora which are bonafide indigene of Sagamu, for their maximum support and sponsorship.
