GOOD JOB: Methodist Comprehensive College Lauds OMG For The Construction Of Classrooms

Methodist Comprehensive College, Sagamu, has heaped praises on one of its former students, Chief Olarenwaju Michael George (OMG), for constructing a block of four classrooms within the school premises.

The project is being facilitated through the Olanrewaju Omo George Foundation (OOGF).

OMG, who received a warm welcome from the school’s management on Wednesday during an inspection tour of the ongoing project, used the opportunity to restate his commitment to developing education within Remo and Ogun state at large.

He said: “We cannot overemphasize the importance of education in the development of a society. As such, we will do all that we can within our powers and through the Olanrewaju Omo George Foundation to prioritise education within Remo and Ogun state in general.”

The school principal, Dr. Womiloju, commended OMG for the initiative and urged others to emulate him by giving back to the society.

She said, “On behalf of the management, I want to thank you for this gesture. We can’t all leave things in the hands of the government and that is why people like you will always be the game-changer. I am using this opportunity to call on other students to emulate you by giving back to the society.

The national president, Old Student Association, Prince (Dr) Shittu Ariyo, said that the likes of OMG are the real champions in the society and he is excited because people like him return and contribute their quota towards the growth of the school.

The Chairman, Project Committee, and president, 1987 set of the school, Salu Olajide, was present as well as the National School Crime Prevention Commandant, Mr Ige.
