In line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals on Quality Education, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Education (Primary & Secondary), Mrs. Ronke Soyombo paid an official working visit to schools (Primary & Secondary) in Ipara Remo for on the spot quality assessment, assurance and control in the schools in Ipara Remo, Ogun State, today, Monday, 4th December, 2023.

Sustainable Development Goal 4 is about quality education and is among the 17 Sustainable Development Goals established by the United Nations in September 2015. The SDG 4 is to “Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all”.

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Education, Mrs. Ronke Soyombo was warmly received by Prince Wole Sowole, Chairman, Ipara (Remo) Community Development Association, (ICDA) and ably supported by Omo’ba Abiola Ogundeko, Former Government Liaison Officer, Remo North LGA and Mr. Gbolahan Odukoya.

The inspection team from the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Ogun State were in schools to inspect and monitor the level of Infrastructural development, compliance to educational programs and teaching methodology standards in the schools visited. The schools visited were: United Primary School, Ipara Remo and Ipara (Remo) Community High School, Ipara Remo, Ogun State.

Mrs. Ronke Soyombo commended the school’s management for maintaining good educational programs and standards met on ground in the schools she visited with her team members. She was accompanied by some officials from the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Ogun State such as Mr. Tunde Kalejaiye, Headteacher General, Remo Zone; Mr Segun Sogeke, Mr Ayodele Odeogbola, Information Technology Consultant, etc.

The management of the schools visited appreciated the visit made by Mrs. Ronke Soyombo and her team, they promised to improve on the current standadrd and to implement all the recommendations made by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Education.
