A Sagamu born entrepreneur, business mogul and Chairman of Niyifola Limited, Omooba Adeniyi Adesola Idowu, popularly known as Niyifola, has congratulated Muslims in Sagamu, Ogun State, Nigeria and across the globe on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-fitri celebration, following the completion of the Ramadan fasting.

Niyifola in a statement release to congratulates the Muslim faithfuls, called on them to always reflect on and uphold the lessons of Ramadan even as the fasting has ended, as he prays the Almighty Allah grant them long life to witness many more of this festival on earth.

Though the fasting has ended, while as a Muslim faithfuls, I urge you all to always reflect on and uphold the spirit of obedience, patience, perseverance, love and compassion, which are some of the lessons the holy month of Ramadan came to instill in us, he said.

He also encouraged Muslims and Nigerians to take advantage of this important occasion of Eid-el-fitri to offer special prayers for the unity, stability, development, purity and safety of the country, especially amidst the high level of economic hardship across the country.

In the spirit of the celebration and in view of the current economic realities and in the land, Omooba Idowu urged Nigerians, particularly well-meaning individuals to show compassion and extend support to the needy and the poor in the society to lessen the hardship they are facing.

“As we celebrate Eid, let’s strive to cultivate the values of compassion, kindness, and forgiveness in our hearts, as I pray may Allah’s blessings be with you on this special day of Eid-ul-Fitr, and may the divine blessings of Allah bring you hope, faith, and joy on Eid-ul-Fitr and always”, the statement reads.
