INDEPENDENCE DAY ANNIVERSARY: NYCN Sagamu Branch Celebrates Nigeria @ 63, Charged Sagamu Youth’s To Shun Cultism, Violence, Turbulence And All Other Negative Acts

With heart filled with joy, the executives of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Sagamu Branch, on behalf of the entire Youth’s of Sagamu Local Government, wishes all the good and amiable citizens of Sagamu, Ogun State and the Federal Republic of Nigeria, a happy 63rd Independence Day Celebrations.

Exactly sixty-three years ago, the struggle and fight for an Independent, sovereign state was actualized as the British flag the Union Jack was lowered down and the Nigerian Green White Green was flown.

We will not fail to acknowledge the pragmatic leadership roles of our President, the Father of the Nation, His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and that of our State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun OON, indeed our God given leaders has done tremendously well since their resumptions of office.

As a nation, we might not have achieved it all but we have gone a long way towards ameliorating the social problems that we are encountering as a nation. All hands should be on deck to build the Nigeria of our dream.

Furthermore, we charged all Sagamu Youth’s and Student’s of our beloved town, Sagamu, to be exemplary in their conduct and uphold virtues that will bring glory and commendation to the local government and Ogun State. It is high time Sagamu Youth’s embrace peace and hard work and shun negative vices like cultism, property vandalism, kidnapping, violence, killings, illegal use of drugs, and other unnecessary turbulence which are capable of scaring away investors.

“We urge all of you to cooperate with the government, traditional leaders, security agency and the youth body, on the fight against cultism and other social vices, teaching all Youth’s, Student’s and the upcoming generations that cultism is bad. The benefits of cultism cannot be bigger than your life, so do not stake your life and die because you did not come to the world to die young. The essence you came here is to grow old, to be successful and to also be useful to the society. Your family, the community, Sagamu, Ogun State and Nigeria as a Nation are looking up to you to help out.

Finally, on behalf of all Sagamu Youth, we congratulate all the citizens of our beautiful country Nigeria, both home and abroad, on the celebration of our 63rd Independence Day Anniversary and we also pray that God will continue to protect and bless our nation, Nigeria, to attain the next greater heights. It will surely get better.

Happy celebrations.

Long live Nigeria
Long live Ogun State
Long live Remo Constituency
Long live Sagamu Local Government

Build the Youth!
Build the Nation!
