A non-governmental organisation, BICAG Charity Foundation, has set to open its Ogun State Chapter in Sagamu, with a promise to lift widows, orphans, old ages and others in the society, raising awareness for its noble cause of making society a better place for widows and the old ages as they kickstart activities to aid the course.
The foundation in a statement made available to our correspondent at Genesis Media House, through it’s founder, Mrs. Abidemi Emmanuel, noted that on Sunday, 21st, January 2024, at 33 Akorede Street, Ojumele, Makun Sagamu, Ogun State, the Foundation will flag off its first empowerment outreach in Sagamu, targeting 100 widows and old ages for a start, and also settling the Foundation to serves as a powerful platform to spread awareness about the challenges faced by the widows and the old ages, and the essential supports they require from the community.

The founder of the BICAG Charity Foundation, Mrs. Abidemi Emmanuel, a UK based Sagamu indigene, in her statement; said “the Foundation aim to contributes to community development by promoting unity, collaboration, and mutual support with a passion that would help care for and empower orphans, widows, old ages, persons with disabilities and other vulnerable persons through targeted interventions”.
In additions, the founder also noted that the office for the foundation will soon be officially open in Sagamu, so as to create a sustainable support system for the vulnerable people by offering financial aids, counseling services, and community integration initiatives to make a positive difference in their lives.
Furthermore, the founder also urge all the beneficiaries to see the support as a volunteer to make a difference, urging them to accept whatever gifts they receive with good heart and make use of the opportunity wisely, noting these were just a tips among the many steps the Foundation are to take to give back to the society, as well as to support the widows, old ages and other vulnerable people the needed voice and care they needs.
