Sagamu born entrepreneur and renowned politician, Omooba Adeniyi Adesola Idowu, popularly known as Niyifola, has congratulates the Ogun State Governor, His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR, OON, on the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal’s victory held today at the State Capital, Abeokuta.
Reacting to the Tribunal Judgement on Saturday, September 30th, 2023, Niyifola who is also the Ambassador, Ogun State APC Youth League, in a statement, described the tribunal verdict as a great victory for Remonians, and Ogun constituents at large, urging the petitioner’s, Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu, the opposition party, People’s Democractic Party, PDP, to accept the tribunal judgment and work with our amiable Governor to move Ogun State to a greater height, while he also call on all Remonians and Ogun people in general to continue to support the policies and programmes of Governor Abiodun’s administration in order to build a greater Gateway State.
According to Niyifola, Governor Dapo Abiodun’s won the March 18 2023 Governorship Election convincingly, noting that the judgment was an affirmation of Ogun people’s mandate freely given to the Governor during the election, noting the judgement did not come as a surprise because APC won the governorship elections successfully and today the court has spoken loud and clear. Our State now needs all of us, to work together to deliver the the dividends of democracy for the benefit of all.
