The Sagamu Local Government Chairmanship Flagbearer under the umbrella of All Progressives Congress, APC, Ogbeni Jubril Olasile Afolabi Odulate, politically known as AFO, has extend a heartfelt gratitude to all party members, supporters, and leaders for their unwavering trust and support in his emergence as the Sagamu APC Chairmanship candidate.

In a press statement released and signed by the Chairmanship candidate, AFO, which reads; Nothing is more honourable than a grateful heart. Today, my heart is full of gratitude to God, who in His infinite mercies has seen me through the crossing of this hurdle, and many more, and in Whom I believe in His divine grace to cross more. I will remain indebted to our party, the All Progressives Congress – APC, for again considering me worthy of being the flag bearer as the Chairmanship Candidate in the forthcoming local government elections. My sincere appreciation to my father, H.E Prince (Dr) Dapo Abiodun CFR, the citizen of the twenty Local Government Areas of our Gateway State and the numero uno of our party, the APC. Thank you for all you do and for the kind and thoughtful ways you do it. The heroes of this keenly contested exercise are my co-aspirants, amongst whom I am today privileged to emerge as the Candidate. I used co-aspirants because I believed from the onset that contests shouldn’t exist between families. We are all one, and I want to emphasise it again that there is no victor and no vanquish. The main contest is in a few weeks, and I am counting on you all to let us do this together. There is strength in our unity, and I appeal to you to bring your wealth of experience to fore in delivering a Sagamu we can proudly call ours.

To my family, which includes my immediate family, the Odulate and Desalu, the families I have beyond bloodlines, my political allies, members of AFO Political Vanguard, my ever dutiful media team and a host of others, I say thank you for standing firm on my mandate.
