Engr. Popularly known as Peterfad, Engr. Fadipe hailed the outcome of the traditional council’s selection process held earlier today, Monday, September 8, 2025, at the Odemo Palace in Isara. The event, steeped in custom and cultural significance, culminated in the election of Bashorun Ogunbayo as the town’s next royal father.
The newly elected monarch is set to ascend the revered throne following the passing of His Royal Highness, Oba Albert Mayungbe, whose reign left an indelible mark on the community and its people.
In his congratulatory message, Peterfad described Bashorun Ogunbayo’s emergence as “a timely and divine choice,” expressing confidence that his leadership will usher in peace, unity, and progress in Isara Remo.
This is a moment of pride for all sons and daughters of Isara. I congratulate our new Odemo-elect, Bashorun Peter Oluwole Ogunbayo, on this well-deserved emergence. May his reign bring enduring development, cultural renaissance, and blessings to our land,” Fadipe stated.
He further commended the kingmakers and traditional council for a peaceful and transparent selection process, praising their wisdom and commitment to preserving the heritage of Isara Remo.
As the town anticipates the formal installation and coronation rites, the people of Isara Remo have begun celebrating what many describe as a new chapter in the town’s illustrious history.
