The lawmaker representing Ogun West Senatorial District at the Red Chamber of the National Assembly, Senator Solomon Adeola, politically known as Yayi, has begins the distribution of food items and cash grant to Muslim faithfuls in Ogun West area as part of his support and kindness to the Islamic people in the ongoing Ramadan festive of the Islamic rites.

The Ramadan packages for the Muslims faithfuls includes distribution of 20,000 bags of rice, hampers, cash grants and various quantities of food items for breaking fast and others, was said to be share across all Islamic organizations and mosques in Ogun West for their members, as well as individuals that are fasting in this Ramadan season.

The distribution of the Ramadan packages was disclosed in a statement issued in Abeokuta on Monday by the Media Adviser to the distinguished Senator, Chief Kayode Odunaro, noting all individuals fasting will also benefit from the gesture.

Odunaro explained that the distribution of such gifts at festive and unique periods remained a tradition that the Senator had kept over the years as a legislator as part of his representative functions and in fulfilment of religious doctrines of sharing and giving.

In conclusion, the Senator again also uses the medium to felicitated with all the Muslims faithfuls in the Ogun West area, calling on them for prayers for the nation and it’s leadership under the administration of His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu -GCFR, as part of their fasting exercise.
