The Honourable Member Representing Remo Federal Constituency, Otunba Adewunmi Oriyomi Onanuga-IJAYA yesterday Thursday September 29th, 2022 joyously attended the Sagamu LG APC general meeting.

The prolific MHR, IJAYA as she is fondly called, walked down to the venue of the meeting in company of party faithfuls and followers. The mass exodus began from her Constituency office in Makun Sagamu down to the Sagamu LG party Secretariat, Rep Onanuga in her usual respectful way was seen waving hands as she exchanged pleasantries with constituents and residents of Remo on her way to the Progressives Party Secretariat.

The Chairman House Committee on Women’s Affairs and Social Development upon arrival at the venue was welcomed by the APC political babes who sang to high heavens, melodious songs sonorous to the ear and matched with good dancing steps of the MHR in a fun filled atmosphere of joy as evident in the faces and participation of party leaders and members in attendance.

Rep Adewunmi Onanuga addressing the gathering appreciated the mammoth and unprecedented party faithfuls who still deem it fit to turn up at the meeting en masse despite the heavy downpour.

In the spirit of party healing and unity, the APC Candidate for Remo Federal Constituency apologized to the entire party members on behalf of herself, the two House of Assembly candidates, the Senatorial candidate and the leader of the party in the state His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR and other APC candidates who in anyway might have acted in a way displeasing to the interest of the party members. Ijaya sues for peace and a united APC family

The Yeye Oba of Makun Kingdom informed the party members that the 2nd phase of the Medical Outreach that involves free medical check-up, drugs administering etc will come up on or before end of October 2022. Ijaya reiterated that the sound health of her constituents is very paramount to her, knowing full well that health as they say, is wealth.

Rep Onanuga charged party faithfuls to get ready and turn up for the Mega campaign flag-off rally of our Senatorial Candidate, Otunba Gbenga Daniel as it promises to be another fun filled and rewarding day promising to be full of mega empowerment packages. In the same vein, Rep Onanuga assured party members that her empowerment programs will now be done basically at ward levels which will commence before the end of the year. Also, her signature facecap will be made available for members at ward level as well.

Rep Onanuga averred that several projects have been facilitated not just by herself but by the two Assembly Candidates (Hon. Ademola Adeniran Sapele and Hon. Segun Shitta), with our amiable Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR topping the project list with overwhelming, magnificent and mouth watering ones which she believes will be a good basis for the campaigns to be based upon as an expectation for even better dividends to come.

Hon Awolaja, Hon Funmi Efuwape, Hon Segun Shitta and Pastor Kolade Segun-Okeowo also spoke to the members present on the need to continue to be faithful to the party in all ramifications to ensure the smooth sailing and success at the forthcoming elections.
