Adesina Slams Nigerian Healthcare: ‘Buhari Would Be Dead If He Used Local Hospitals’

Femi Adesina, former presidential spokesman, has asserted that Muhammadu Buhari might not have survived if he had relied on Nigerian hospitals for his medical care.
During a special coverage of Buhari’s funeral on Channels Television, Adesina defended his former boss’s choice of treatment, emphasizing that Buhari had consistently sought medical attention in London even before his presidency began in May 2015.

He explained that the medical staff in the UK were already well-acquainted with Buhari’s health history, eliminating the need for a transition to new doctors. Adesina also pointed out that many healthcare facilities in Nigeria lacked the necessary equipment and expertise required for the former president’s treatment.
