Asoludero Solidarity Movement Holds Stakeholders Meeting, Declares 2027 Political Alignment And Restructures Leadership

The All Progressives Congress (APC)-aligned Asoludero Solidarity Movement, a formidable political group with structures across the 20 local government areas and 236 wards of Ogun State, convened a high-level strategic stakeholder meeting on Saturday, March 20, 2026, at the residential villa of its convener and founder, Dr. Adeleke Adedoyin, popularly known as Baba Asoludero, who doubled as the Ogun East APC Senatorial Chairman.
In his welcome address, Baba Asoludero warmly received members and stakeholders, extending goodwill to Muslim faithful on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr. He reflected on the evolution of the Asoludero Solidarity Movement, emphasizing its foundation on strong political ideology and unwavering adherence to the principles and supremacy of the APC.
Reaffirming the group’s vision, Baba Asoludero charged members to remain loyal, committed, and steadfast, urging them to actively promote the movement’s ideals across all political engagements. He officially announced the movement’s endorsement of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI) as its preferred candidate for the Ogun State governorship race in 2027. He further reiterated unwavering support for the re-election of Bola Ahmed Tinubu as President of Nigeria, and the senatorial ambition of Dapo Abiodun in Ogun East Senatorial District. Members were encouraged to align fully with all candidates endorsed by the movement at various levels.
Addressing speculations, Baba Asoludero firmly dismissed any contrary claims linking him or the movement to other aspirants, urging the public to disregard misinformation.
In a show of unity, attendees unanimously endorsed the leadership’s decisions, describing Baba Asoludero as a dependable and visionary leader. They pledged collective efforts to ensure the emergence and electoral victory of all endorsed candidates in the 2027 general elections, while acknowledging the movement’s impact on their political growth and the strengthening of the APC in the state.
A major highlight of the meeting was the deliberation on allegations against Alhaji Abdurahmon Okesola of Ward 1, Sagamu Local Government, accused of falsely parading himself as the State Coordinator of the movement. The allegations included unauthorized representation, financial misappropriation, and actions deemed detrimental to the integrity and reputation of the group. The leadership disclosed that a formal invitation to Alhaji Okesola for clarification had been issued but was ignored.
Following extensive deliberations, a motion for his dismissal—moved and supported by members—was unanimously adopted, leading to his expulsion from the Asoludero Solidarity Movement. The leadership consequently urged the public, political stakeholders, and aspirants to cease all dealings with him under the movement’s name.
To reinforce organizational stability, the movement announced the appointment of Prince Wale Oduwaye, popularly known as WABOL, as the Acting Ogun State Coordinator. His emergence received overwhelming endorsement from attendees.
In his acceptance speech, Prince WABOL expressed deep appreciation for the confidence reposed in him, pledging transparent, inclusive, and progressive leadership. He also acknowledged Baba Asoludero’s mentorship and called for unity and support from all members to elevate the movement to greater prominence.
In his closing remarks, Baba Asoludero congratulated the new coordinator and charged him to lead with integrity, dedication, and people-oriented policies, while urging all members to rally behind the new leadership for sustained growth.

Raphael Adewale, Mr. Adebayo J.A., Musibau Adepegba, Akinyemi Olugbenga, Ogunsekan Noah, Afaku Taofeekat, Lamidi Modinat, Alh. Hassan Ajibola, Rildwan Alarape, Alh. Wahab Morakinyo, Ajayi Omoniyi, Bello Bola F., Hon. Oduwaye, Pa. Sokoya, Alhaja Motunrayo, Adeleke Idowu, among others.
