The Bicag Charity Foundation, a non governmental charity outfit with bias for widows, old ages and the less privileged, stormed several churches in Sagamu area of Ogun State, for its 2024 Easter Festive largesse to the vulnerable christians in celebrating the resurrection day of Christ Jesus, known as the Easter Festive.

The beneficial churches are New Creation Gospel Mission, St. Matthias Anglican Church, (Diocese Of Remo) and His Word Is Fire And Life Ministry, in Sagamu.

The largesse saw the beneficiaries goes home with a food packages in mini bags of stable foods which included rice, beans, semovita, garri, sugar, salt, oil, and others to the less privilege christians who was present in numbers to receive the token of charity from the Foundation.

The founder/CEO of the NGO’s, Mrs. Abidemi Emmanuel, who was duly represented in all the churches by the executives member’s of the Foundation led by it’s Director, Asiwaju Abidemi Bidex, said that the charity schemes of the Foundation began over a year ago, addings the outreach has visited various homes, churches, mosques and many other places where converts emerged with many charity activities and lives were touched.

Bidex in his remarks, appreciates the Pastor’s of all the churches for honouring their request to carries out it’s outreach program, while also assuring the general public that with grace descending from God’s throne of mercy, the gesture will be carried out in greater dimension in the next festive and beyond, noting the Foundation remains committed to its mission of building a hunger-free society, where no one goes to bed hungry.

 

In additions, the founder, Mrs. Abidemi, also uses the medium to congratulates all Christians worldwide on the occasion of this year’s Easter celebration, calling on them to focus more on the significance of Easter, which is the triumph of Jesus Christ over death.

Mrs. Emmanuel who emphasized that Jesus is the symbol of Christian faith and His resurrection is a symbol of victory over death, stated it is therefore, imperative for believers to emulate Christ in their way of lives by showing good examples as brides of Jesus Christ, noting His death has put death to shame by rising from the dead on the third day after His crucifixion. She then urged all the Pastor’s and the Christians at large to continue to pray for the Foundation to grow more higher and not to be truncated by the enemies of progress.

“What you have done to us is the fulfilment of the Scripture that say,’ rejoice with them that rejoice; and mourn with them that mourn’.

“You have identified with the Christian faithfuls in their season of rejoicing and it will not go without blessings of God.

May God bless the Foundation and it’s directorates, as well as the founder and those who have partnered and are partnering with them to make sure that lives of the vulnerable people are being impacted,” The Pastor’s and the beneficiaries said, while thanking the NGO’s for the Easter outreach.
