In the face of growing youth development in Remo, area of Ogun State, the Apex Youth body of Remo Land, Remo Youth Association -RYA has received an affiliate confirmation from Community Interest Africa Inc., USA, a non-governmental organisation based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.

In a statement made available to newsmen at Genesis Media House, the RYA chairman Comr. Yaya Agbolade Onagbesan, made this declaration known today Monday, 22nd August 2022, to all the Remo Youths both home and disposal.

Recalled that RYA made a request to affiliate with the organization on June 16th, 2022, before the letter received a signatory approval today from the President/CEO of the NGO, Otunba Kayode Onafadeji (fnipr), while an approval letter which reads; “Re: Letter Of Intent To Affiliate With Community Interest Africa Inc” was sent to the office of the Chairman, RYA for confirmation of their request.

While speaking with newsmen in Remo, Onagbesan said “Before my emergence as the Chairman of the Association, it was a priority to place Remo Youth on the global space. So this is not coming as a surprise”.

“Well, to the best of my knowledge; I am not of the school of thought that believe ‘Money is the primary resources’ to get things done. You must first be ready and passionate about an initiative.

I cherish relationship and understand what it means to place oneself in a rightful position towards opportunities.

Onagbesan also narrates to newsmen on how the mission was well accomplished, which he said: “I believe Remo Youth Association must at all time benefit in any form of opportunities around us. So when I met the President of Community Interest Africa and we discussed at length, I tried all we could do to bring RYA on board and I am so happy that our association was approved as an affiliate member of the NGO”.

While appreciating the President and other Board Managements of the NGO on the approval of the request, Onagbesan enjoined Youths across Remo Land to seize the opportunity that will be provided by the NGO to acquire skills for their own good and that of the society. “Together we can all make a difference”, Onagbesan added.
