Niyifola, in a statement issued by his media office on Friday, 21st April, 2023, urged the Muslim Ummah to use the end of Ramadan and the Eid-el-Fitri celebration to continue to practice acts of charity, peaceful co-existence with their neighbours and to imbibe fully the tenets of Islam, as taught by Prophet Mohamed (SAW), noting the Eid-el-Fitri celebration is a season of love and forgiveness, and enjoined the Muslim faithful to use the season to fend for the poor and the needy in line with God’s injunction to be our brother’s keeper.
