Empowering Communities: Omooba Adeniyi Adesola Idowu (Niyifola) Donates State-of-the-Art Sound Systems To Each Wards Of Sagamu Constituency II
A wave of jubilation swept through the Sagamu II (Makun) Constituency as Omooba Adeniyi Adesola Idowu, politically known as Niyifola, an aspiring 2027 State House of Assembly member, concluded a five-day donation of 10,000-watt sound systems to all the five political wards in Makun. The gesture championed on his behalf by his “Team Niyifola”, spanning from Monday, May 5th, to Friday, May 9th, 2025, saw Ward 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15 each receive the high-quality sound equipment with two microphones, handed over in pristine condition to their respective ward chairmen.
The sound systems, a significant contribution to the All Progressives Congress (APC) wards, are expected to greatly enhance communication and engagement during ward meetings, political gatherings, and community events. They will ensure clear and audible messages, facilitating seamless interactions and participation.
The Ward Chairmen from ward 11 – 15, expressed their profound gratitude to Omooba Adeniyi Adesola Idowu for his generous donation, respectively. They commended his commitment to the party, and support to the constituents, acknowledging the positive impact the sound systems will have on their activities.
Alhaja Rukayat Ogunubi, the Sagamu APC Women Leader, popularly known as Yoboro, hailed Niyifola, for his unprecedented act of generosity. “This is the first of its kind in the entire Sagamu region,” she declared. “I have never witnessed such a significant contribution from any elected government officials or appointees or aspirants since the dawn of democracy”.

The constituents of Makun were visibly delighted, showering praises on Niyifola for his dedication and contributions to the party. They offered heartfelt prayers for his success and well-being.

Rayfard, speaking on behalf of the Team Niyifola delegations, elaborated on Idowu’s motivation, and reflecting on his unwavering commitment to serving the people of Sagamu II (Makun) Constituency. “These sound systems are a small token of our principal Omooba Adeniyi Adesola Idowu’s dedication to ensuring effective communication and unity within our wards,” he stated.
He believes that strong, well-equipped wards are essential for effective political engagement and community development.
He also reiterated his aspiration to represent the good people of Sagamu II (Makun) Constituency at the State House of Assembly in 2027 under the umbrella of the All Progressives Congress, APC, urging them to support his candidacy. “According to Niyifola’s slogan, ‘Putting You First,’ reflects his unwavering commitment to prioritizing the interests of Makun and it’s people,” he concluded.
