Governor Dapo Abiodun’s Aide Engr. Olusola Fadipe (Peterfad) Launches Road Rehabilitation And Electrification Projects In Remo North

In a significant move to enhance community infrastructure and deliver the dividends of democracy to grassroots citizens, Engr. Olusola Fadipe, the Special Assistant to the Governor on Parks and Gardens in Ogun State, has announced the commencement of road rehabilitation and electrification projects in Orile Oko.

During a meeting with local community leaders on February 20th, 2025, Fadipe, popularly known as Peterfad, expressed his commitment to the development of Remo North Local Government and emphasized his support for Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun’s administration. “This initiative is part of my contributions to the development of my dear local government and in support of the Ogun State government,” he stated.

The road rehabilitation project will focus on several key roads, including Abule Silalu, Abule Jemisi, Abule Itoku Olorunda, Abule Laduke, and Abule Sotayo. Planned improvements will involve grading, construction of drainage systems, and the construction of gutters to ensure better accessibility and drainage.In addition to the road works, Peterfad will also be donating solar lights to the five towns within the locality. This electrification effort aims to alleviate past electricity supply challenges faced by the Orile Oko community, enhancing living conditions and promoting overall quality of life for its residents.

Set to commence this month, the project is personally funded and sponsored by Peterfad as a tribute to Governor Abiodun’s vision for a well-developed Ogun State. “We aim to ensure that all areas in Ogun State are equipped with adequate infrastructure and experience the benefits of democratic governance,” he added.

As the community awaits the start of these vital projects, hopes are high for improvements that will translate into real and lasting benefits for the residents of Orile Oko.
