Liyangu Ruling House Of Akarigbo Confers Double ‘Olotu-Ebi’ Title On Alhaji Malik Folarin 

The Chairman of Anwal-ul Islam Society of Nigeria, Sagamu Mission, Alhaji Malik Folarin has been conferred with two family’s title, namely “Olotu-Ebi Luberu and Olotu-Ebi Abejoye”, of the Liyangu Royal Dynasty of Akarigbo in Sagamu Local Government Area, of Ogun State.

The conferment was part of activities commemorating the 84th birth anniversary of Alhaji Folarin, held today, Friday, August 2nd, 2024, at UAMC (Eleja) Primary School, in Sagamu.

Speaking at the ceremony, Apostle Oladuni from the Abejoye family, described Folarin as a dependable personality who has been instrumental to the development of the royal family, noting the title would make him do more for the family, humanity and the community at large.

According to him, the title will further foster good neighbourliness among different family members of the royal dynasty, and many others.

‘I didn’t see this title coming, but leaders of my lineage, the Liyangu Ruling House of Akarigbo of Remo Land, deemed it fit that I should be the next ‘Olotu’ of the two royal family’s, the ‘Luberu and Abejoye’, Alhaji Folarin said, while appreciating his family members for counting him worthy of the title.

In attendance at the event are several Olori-Ilu in Sagamu, head of each of the royal family, members of the royal dynasty, wives and sons and daughters, and grand children’s of the celebrant, as well as friends, relatives and other well wishers of the celebrant in Sagamu and Remo Land in general, and overseas.
