Oba Kolawole Adesina Adeyemi Marks 4th Coronation Anniversary As Negbuwa Of Ibido Land, Sagamu, In Grand Thanksgiving Celebration

His Royal Highness, Alayeluwa Oba Kolawole Adesina Adeyemi (Efutide Solomade I), the Negbuwa of Ibido Land, Sagamu, today February 25, 2026, commemorated his 4th Coronation Anniversary on the revered throne of his forefathers, marking four impactful years of royal leadership, service, and community development.
The anniversary celebration, held at the Royal Palace in Ibido, Sagamu, drew a large and diverse gathering of dignitaries and well-wishers. The event witnessed the presence of various religious bodies — Christians, Muslims, and adherents of Traditional beliefs — reflecting the unity and harmony that characterize the Ibido community. Community youths, elders, chiefs, and sons and daughters of Ibido Land were also in attendance, joining in solidarity to honor their royal father.
In his address, Kabiesi expressed profound gratitude to Almighty God and to his ancestors for granting him the grace, wisdom, and strength to occupy the throne as the royal monarch of Ibido people. He acknowledged the divine guidance that has sustained his reign over the past four years and reaffirmed his commitment to serving with integrity, compassion, and dedication.
Oba Kolawole Adesina Adeyemi extended heartfelt appreciation to his Royal Chiefs, religious leaders, youth bodies, and all indigenes of Ibido Land, home and abroad, for their unwavering support and contributions toward the growth and upliftment of the community. He noted that the collective efforts of stakeholders have significantly enhanced peace, progress, and unity within the land.
While offering prayers for continued peace and prosperity, Kabiesi emphasized that the long-anticipated aspirations of the community, particularly concerning their authentic community head, “Orile Ibido,” will soon come to fulfillment. He called on all sons and daughters of Ibido Land to embrace unity, companionship, and harmony, stressing that collective strength remains the key to achieving shared goals and lasting development.
A highlight of the celebration was the Thanksgiving Service held within the Palace grounds. The service was led by Apostle Olukorede Awolesi, General Overseer of the Church of the Lord Revival Ministry, who guided the congregation in praise and worship, delivered an inspiring sermon, and offered fervent prayers for the monarch, his household, and the continued success of his reign as Negbuwa of Ibido Land.
The occasion also featured moments of celebration and rejoicing, as attendees expressed their joy and goodwill in honor of the monarch’s 4th year on the throne. Cultural displays, prayers, and expressions of loyalty underscored the deep respect and admiration the people hold for their royal father.
