RYD 2025: Remo Youth Association Hosts Successful Medical Outreach Celebrating 7th Annual Remo Youth Day

In a remarkable initiative reflecting the spirit of solidarity and community service, the Remo Youth Association (RYA), under the able leadership of Comrade Bidemi Solanrin, successfully conducted a medical outreach today Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Ologere Palace, in Ogere Remo, as part of the 7th Annual Remo Youth Day celebration. This year’s theme, “Strength In Unity – Building The Future Of Remo Youth,” emphasizes the importance of community collaboration for a healthier future.
The outreach aimed to provide medical assistance and health resources to over 500 residents across Remo Land, including men, women, and youths of both genders. With a commitment to improving the healthcare landscape of the community, the initiative offered screenings, consultations, and essential health services that cater to a diverse population.
During the event, Comrade Bidemi Solanrin delivered an inspiring speech, highlighting the outreach’s significant impact on the health and well-being of the people of Remo Land. He underscored the necessity of quality healthcare as a foundation for a thriving community and encouraged attendees to prioritize their health.
”We are here today not just to provide medical services but to reinforce the belief that together, we can build a brighter future,” Solanrin stated. “This outreach exemplifies what we can achieve through unity and collaboration.”
In attendance were key figures including Comrade Elijah, Chairman of the Planning Committee, fellow executive members of the RYA, and the NYCN Coordinators from the three local governments that constitute Remo Land. The presence of various youth leaders and representatives from multiple youth organizations further underscored the communal spirit driving the outreach.
Attendees expressed profound gratitude for the initiative. Beneficiaries of the medical services shared their appreciation, highlighting the invaluable support received from the youth organizations. Many noted that the outreach has significantly enhanced their access to healthcare services, with one recipient stating, “This service has opened doors for us, showing that the youth can indeed lead efforts that benefit our entire community.”
