‎Sagamu APC Leaders Hold Strategic Meeting, Drums Mega Support For Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI) Ahead Of 2027 Ogun Gubernatorial Race

‎In a decisive move toward shaping the political landscape ahead of the 2027 Ogun State gubernatorial election, leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) across all wards in Sagamu convened a strategic meeting on Thursday, March 19, 2026, to consolidate support for Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as YAYI, widely regarded as the leading aspirant for the party’s gubernatorial ticket.

‎The high-level meeting was held at the residence of the Ogun East Senatorial District Chairman, Omooba Dr. Adeleke Adedoyin, fondly called Baba Asoludero, who warmly welcomed party leaders, stakeholders, and grassroots mobilizers from across Sagamu. In his opening remarks, Baba Asoludero commended the leadership qualities and progressive ideals of Senator YAYI, describing his vision and mission for Ogun State as both promising and people-oriented.

‎Deliberations at the meeting centered on strategic planning, grassroots mobilization, and strengthening party unity in preparation for the forthcoming primaries. A key outcome of the gathering was the proposal to organize a mega stakeholders’ meeting in honor of Senator YAYI, scheduled to hold on Monday, March 23, 2026, aimed at further galvanizing support across the constituency.

‎Speakers at the meeting unanimously emphasized the need for unwavering loyalty, dedication, and coordinated efforts among party faithful to ensure Senator YAYI emerges as the APC flagbearer. They urged members to remain steadfast, committed, and proactive in advancing the collective goal of victory in 2027.

‎The interactive session also featured an engaging question-and-answer segment, allowing stakeholders and attendees to seek clarifications, share insights, and align on key strategies moving forward.

‎The meeting recorded an impressive turnout of notable party leaders and stakeholders, including Alhaji Dauda Olokun, Hon. Fagade (Secretary), Elder Kola Tonight, Mrs. Toyin Jekami, Otunba Laide Okunola, the Sagamu APC Women Leader, Alhaja Rukayat Sonubi, alongside numerous other influential figures within the APC structure in Sagamu.

‎The gathering underscored a renewed sense of unity, purpose, and determination among Sagamu APC leaders, setting a strong foundation for what promises to be a formidable campaign journey toward 2027.
