‎Sagamu: Tragic Road Accident In Sotubo Claims Lives And Leaves Many Injured

A devastating road accident occurred this afternoon in the Sotubo area of Sagamu, Ogun State, resulting in multiple fatalities and numerous injuries. Emergency response from the community residents and passerbys quickly responded to the scene, where the wreckage of a bus loaded with 18 passengers lay scattered after losing control and crashing into an electricity pole near the Ayangberuwa Palace along the Sagamu-Ikorodu road.

‎Eyewitnesses reported that the bus, which was traveling at a high speed, appeared to experience brake failure moments before the crash. The impact was catastrophic, leading to severe damage to the vehicle, which was described as “totally wrecked.”

‎Local residents rushed to assist the victims while emergency responders were dispatched to transport the injured to nearby hospitals for urgent medical care. As of now, the number of casualties remains unclear, but reports indicate that several individuals lost their lives, and many others sustained serious injuries.
