Wike Stands Firm: “No One Can Expel Me From The PDP”

Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike has firmly rebutted calls for his expulsion from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), asserting that no one possesses the authority or courage to remove him from a party he has dedicated years of service to.

In a media briefing held in Abuja on Monday, Wike stated, “I am still a member of the PDP, and I have worked tirelessly for the party. I have yet to encounter anyone brave enough to tell me, ‘Wike, you are not a member of the party.’ Who is that person, and what has he contributed to the party that surpasses my commitment?”

Wike’s comments arise amid increasing tensions within the PDP regarding his role in the current administration and his perceived political strategy. Despite the mounting pressure, the former governor of Rivers State emphasized that his loyalty to the PDP remains unwavering and that he will not be easily pushed out of the party.
