‎In a significant display of loyalty and commitment to the All Progressives Congress (APC), former Governor of Ogun State and current Senator representing Ogun East, His Excellency Otunba Gbenga Daniel, has revalidated his membership with the party today January 19th 2026, at his Isote Ward 12 in the Sagamu Local Government Area. This bold move comes despite his recent suspension from the party, amidst reports of anti-party involvement and internal strife within the party, with the leadership of the Ogun State Chapter of the party, APC, having previously announced Senator Daniel’s suspension.

‎The revalidation ceremony, part of the APC’s ongoing electronic registration initiative, drew a large crowd of party faithful and supporters who came to witness Senator Daniel reaffirm his political allegiance. Addressing the enthusiastic audience, he asserted, “I want to make it very clear that I go nowhere. My loyalty and commitment to the APC and the people of Ogun East remains steadfast.”

He stated, “It is imperative that we remain united, especially as we work together toward the upcoming 2027 elections.
