‎Remo Chamber Of Commerce, Industry, Mines And Agriculture (RECCIMA) Hosts Business Meeting To Forge Opportunities For SMEs In Remo Land

The Remo Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (RECCIMA), a prominent private sector organization advocating for business interests in Remo Land, Ogun State, Nigeria, held its September Business Meeting on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. The event took place at the Conference Hall, Owolowo Cooperative House, Oba Awolesi Erinwole II G.R.A Road, Sagamu, Ogun State.

‎During the opening remarks, RECCIMA President Omo’ba (Alh.) Abiola Ogundeko warmly welcomed attendees, expressing gratitude for their presence and underscoring the pivotal role of RECCIMA in the community. He emphasized its commitment to creating value and opportunities for the youth, while also inviting enhanced collaboration between government entities and the private sector.

‎In addition, Omo’ba Ogundeko extended special thanks to several dignitaries, including the National President of NACCIMA, Engr. Jani Ibrahim, mni, OON, FNSE, FNAEng, and NACCIMA National Executive Council Members; President of ODUACCIMA, Alhaji Wasiu Babatunde Olaleye and his Executive Council; President of OGUNCCIMA, Lion Niyi Olugbeminiyi Oshiyemi and his Executive Council; guest speaker Amb. Ayoola Olukanni, former Director-General of NACCIMA; and the Remo Royal Fathers for their invaluable contributions and support to the event.

‎Amb. Ayoola Olukanni served as the guest speaker at the summit, addressing the theme “Exploring Global Trade Opportunities for SMEs Through NACCIMA Trade Missions.” The event also attracted numerous dignitaries, government officials, business leaders from across the nation, and representatives from the Remo Youth Association (RYA).

‎Genesis Media Hub monitored the proceedings, which included notable attendees such as Mrs. Yemi Olukanni, wife of the guest speaker; Prof. (Bishop) Adewale Roland Tunde Solarin, former Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Development) at FUNAAB; Mr. Kehinde Sogunle, former Director-General of Budget and former Hon. Commissioner of Finance in Ogun State; the representative of Aare (Dr.) Olanrewaju Michael George (OMG); and various members of the RECCIMA executive council, as well as representatives from Remo youth and women associations.

‎The event fostered productive interactions between the RECCIMA executive council and attendees, where participants exchanged ideas and discussed key strategies to enhance the economic impact of the community.
