‎Makun 2027: Omooba Adeniyi Adesola Idowu (Niyifola) Holds Strategic Meeting With Political Family, Team, Supporters, And APC Leaders, Reaffirms Loyalty To Party Decision

‎In a strong demonstration of political maturity, unity, and party loyalty, Omooba (Dr.) Adeniyi Adesola Idowu, FEIPA, popularly known as Niyifola, on Sunday, May 10, 2026, convened a strategic consultative meeting with members of Team Niyifola, party leaders, and key stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) across Sagamu II (Makun) State Constituency.

‎The meeting held at Surulere, area of Makun Sagamu, Ogun State, attracted a broad spectrum of party faithfuls and supporters, brought together coordinators, mobilizers, media associates, women representatives, youth leaders, campaign strategists, and political associates who have contributed immensely to the growth and visibility of the Niyifola political movement within the constituency.

‎Also in attendance were respected APC elders, stakeholders, and party executives, including Pa. Ade & Ade, Elder Eyan Pataki, Mrs. Erinle, Mama Bright, the Constituency Chairman, Mr. Kehinde Oseni, popularly known as Baba Baraka, alongside ward chairmen, youth leaders, women leaders, and several other notable party members across the constituency.

‎Speaking during the meeting, Baba Baraka commended Niyifola for convening what he described as a peaceful, mature, and unifying political engagement. He noted that the aspirant had continued to distinguish himself through discipline, loyalty, and consistent commitment to the progress of the party and the development of the constituency.

‎In his remarks, Pa. Ade & Ade acknowledged the remarkable political journey and growing influence of Niyifola within Sagamu II (Makun) Constituency. While expressing concerns regarding certain processes surrounding the emergence of the party’s consensus candidate, he emphasized that the decision and direction of the leadership of the party, under the guidance of the Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, remain supreme and deserving of respect in the interest of party unity and stability.

‎Similarly, Elder Eyan Pataki appreciated Niyifola for his calm disposition, humility, and spirit of brotherhood throughout the political process. He encouraged supporters and party faithful to accept developments in good faith while continuing to place the collective interest of the APC above individual aspirations.

‎Addressing the congregation, Niyifola expressed profound appreciation to members of Team Niyifola and all supporters who contributed to the strength, coordination, and visibility of his aspiration across the constituency. He thanked them for their loyalty, sacrifices, encouragement, and unwavering belief in the shared vision they collectively pursued.

‎Speaking further, he reaffirmed his total loyalty to the supremacy of the APC and reiterated his respect for the leadership of Governor Dapo Abiodun, CON, as well as the elders and stakeholders of the party.

‎He subsequently informed supporters and political associates that all activities relating to his aspiration should be brought to a close, stressing that the unity, stability, and future success of the APC must remain paramount above personal ambition.

‎Demonstrating statesmanship and a deep commitment to party cohesion, Niyifola urged members of his team and supporters across all wards to remain peaceful, united, and fully committed to the collective progress of the party moving forward.

‎He further assured party leaders and supporters that his commitment to the development of Makun and Sagamu II Constituency remains unwavering, emphasizing that service to the people will continue beyond political contests.
