‎Remo 2027: 35 Ward Councillors Across Remo Federal Constituency Endorse APC Consensus Candidate, Hon. Funmilayo Efuwape (FAECO) For House Of Representatives Ahead Of Primary And General Elections

All the 35 Ward Councillors across Remo Federal Constituency have unanimously declared their total support and endorsement for Hon. Funmilayo Efuwape, popularly known as FAECO, as the consensus candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the House of Representatives seat representing Ikenne/Sagamu/Remo North Federal Constituency ahead of the 2027 general elections.

‎The strategic meeting, which held today at the country home of FAECO in the GRA area of Sagamu, brought together all Ward Councillors from across the Remo Federal Constituency, including the Leaders of the House from the legislative councils of the three local government areas within the constituency.

‎At the gathering, the councillors unanimously pledged their loyalty, support, endorsement, and commitment towards the emergence of Hon. Funmilayo Efuwape as the APC flagbearer in the forthcoming primary election and assured her of massive support towards securing victory in the 2027 general elections.

‎Welcoming the councillors and party stakeholders to the meeting, Hon. Funmilayo Efuwape expressed deep appreciation for their solidarity, confidence, and continued support for her aspiration. She passionately appealed for their unwavering support and votes from their respective wards ahead of the APC primary election.

‎In her address, FAECO outlined her vision, mission, and developmental agenda for the people of Remo Federal Constituency, emphasizing her commitment to effective representation, grassroots development, youth empowerment, women inclusion, infrastructural advancement, and improved welfare for the people.

‎She assured the gathering that her aspiration is driven by genuine passion for service, progress, and sustainable development across Ikenne, Sagamu, and Remo North Federal Constituency, promising to deliver impactful representation capable of transforming the constituency for the better.

‎FAECO also used the opportunity to appreciate Dapo Abiodun, CON, for his support and endorsement which contributed to her emergence as the consensus candidate of the APC. She reaffirmed her loyalty, dedication, and unwavering cooperation with the Governor’s political aspirations and leadership.

‎She further urged the visiting councillors to remain steadfast and committed to the collective ambitions of the APC, particularly in supporting Governor Dapo Abiodun’s emergence as the Senate Consensus Candidate for Ogun East Senatorial District.

‎Also speaking at the gathering, Otunba Taofeek Sokoya, popularly known as Danku, charged the councillors to remain courageous, united, and committed to the task ahead. He emphasized the importance of loyalty, discipline, and total dedication to all APC consensus candidates across Remo.

‎He further encouraged the councillors to mobilize massively for the APC primary election scheduled for tomorrow, stressing that their votes and the support of their ward constituents should overwhelmingly be delivered in favour of FAECO.

‎In separate remarks delivered on behalf of the visiting councillors, the three Leaders of the House from the legislative arms of the three local government councils commended FAECO for her remarkable contributions, steadfast support, humanitarian efforts, and unwavering commitment to the growth and development of the APC and the Remo Constituency at large.

‎They collectively described her as a grassroots politician with a proven record of service, accessibility, and dedication to the welfare of the people, noting that her leadership qualities and commitment to humanity have continued to distinguish her across the constituency.

‎The councillors, in their collective assurances, reaffirmed their total support, endorsement, loyalty, and commitment to delivering victory for FAECO during the APC primary election and the 2027 general elections.

‎Other notable dignitaries present at the meeting included Alhaji Lukman Adunmo, Alhaja Abimbola Awofeso, Hon. Habeeb Ajetunmobi, Hon. Kazeem Sonuga, popularly known as Omo Ebute, alongside several party leaders, stakeholders, and prominent APC faithful from across Remo Federal Constituency.
