Despite all the challenges we’re facing as a nation, I want to take this opportunity to urge you all to summoned your courage and renewed the lost hope by exercising your right to vote peacefully and responsibly. Let us respect each other’s opinions and views without engaging in personal attacks, destructions or violence. We implore everyone to embrace a peaceful and nonviolent approach during and after the elections, as violence only serves to undermine the integrity of the elections and disrupt the democratic process. We should also keep in mind that the ultimate goal of the election is to elect leaders who will work toward the betterment of the country. Therefore, we should focus on the issues at hand and the policies of the candidates instead of engaging in violent behavior.

We therefore call on all political parties, candidates, stakeholders and mostly the electoral body, Independent National Electoral Commissions (INEC) to ensure that the election is free, fair, and transparent and that every citizen has the opportunity to exercise their right to vote.

“Furthermore, we encourage everyone to report any suspicious activities capable of undermining the credibility of the electoral process to the appropriate authorities to ensure that the election is conducted in a safe and peaceful environment. Nigerians should also embrace the culture of peace and respect for one another’s rights and opinions, even in the face of provocation.

May all our struggle for a better, more just and peaceful Nigeria be productive, as we seek for a successful winnings for all APC candidates in the 2023 elections”, the statement reads.
