A seasoned young entrepreneur and renowned politician, Omooba Adeniyi Adesola Idowu, popularly known as NIYIFOLA, has felicitated with all Christians faithfuls in Sagamu and across the globe on the celebration of Easter Sunday.

Niyifola in his goodwill message made available to journalists, today, Sunday 9th April, 2023, stated that another opportunity has come for Christians all over the world especially in Sagamu, Remo, Ogun State and Nigeria at large, to reflect on the sacrifices made by our Lord Jesus Christ using the Easter season has a moment of sober reflection, ponder over the supreme sacrifice of Christ and take a cue from his selflessness by eschewing all forms of political, social and religious vices. “Reflect and emulate its lessons of piety, self sacrifice, redemption, triumph of freedom over thralldom and life over death, and to also provides an opportunity for show of love, reinforcement of the bond of brotherhood and commitment to the service of God and humanity as exemplified by Jesus Christ which is the reason for the celebration”, the statement reads.

Niyifola also uses the medium to call on Christians to continue praying for the peace of Sagamu, Remo, Ogun State and Nigeria at large, noting Easter is about the elimination of slavery, a unification of conscience and faith. “Let this period serve as a reminder that nothing can hinder us in fulfilling our dreams and renewed hope for a greater Nigeria. We are all bound in a single garment of destiny resonating in us. Let those who seek to divide us be reminded that it is through loving one another that one can prove himself as being a true disciple. We must be firm in our ability to overcome all retrogressive and divisive forces, by joining hands in building a prosperous and united society”, Omooba said.
