Otunba Dr. Adebayo Odunowo a prolific leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Party in Odogbolu Local Government has demonstrated again his altruistic philanthropic nature through donations of bags of Rice as Palliatives to his people at Imoru Units in Ward 11, Odogbolu Local Government.

This charitable action was performed by his representative, Hon. Fasola Olamide the Secretary to Odogbolu Local Government at his Imoru residence.

The consignments were received by the Chairman of Ward 11, Mr. Tejumola Ogunsaanu for onward transmission to Members of the two Units of 1 and 15 Imoru through their respective Chairmen, Prince Kayode Ogunmosu and Mr. Babajide Yemitan.

Hon. Fasola Olamide, while handing over the Palliatives, said, “On behalf of Otunba Dr Adebayo Odunowo, I am presenting these bags of Rice through Ward 11 Chairman for the members of Imoru Units. This is not the first time Otunba has shown his generosity in his characteristic manner of giving. He has been given to Wards Leaders, Chairmen, Units Chairmen, and members. This time, he is extending to Imoru Units. On this, I appreciate him handing over the Palliatives to you, sir.

Responding, Mr. Ogunsaanu revealed that “There are leaders and there are Leaders; Otunba Dr. Adebayo Odunowo is a leader of repute. He is not a pushover in the State as am sure he is recognised in the state. As you have said, this is not even the first time he has done such. He was the first to empower the widows in this Odogbolu Local Government.

Continuing, Ogunsaanu said there was a time he invited all to his Sagamu residence where he feted everyone.

Having appreciated Otunba for yet another time he is standing up to the plights of his people at this tough time of need through the donation of these palliatives, he prayed God continuous blessings upon him and the realisation of every desires of his heart.

The members present were elated to express their unalloyed support to Otunba at all times.
