It is the beginning of a new year 2024 and most Christians do practice the act of fresh fruits whereby their first salary in the year or fresh profit of business, first money of their new marriage, first gain of their products, first fruits of their crops, etc will be given to the church, according to the teachings; “First Fruits is a religious offering of the first agricultural produce of the harvest or profits of a business or salary to the priest as an offering to the altar”. It is also biblical, check Numbers 15:20–21, and 18:12-18.

But using this current harsh and hard economy in Nigeria, a period where majority of people are passing through hard feelings, a season where every goods are costly and keep increasing every day by day.
