Oke-Imosan will elude you if you allow SABOTEURS who are parading themselves as your political leaders and equating personal agenda to Yewa aspiration to lead your quest on the issue of number one seat.

It is true that Ogun East people are sympathetic to your aspiration to govern the state but if you allowed selfish individuals who are equating their personal ambition to Yewa aspiration, it will spell doom to you in 2027 as it was in 2011, 2015, 2019, and 2023.

All the people aspiring to wear the cap as your gubernatorial candidates are being used by selfish political leaders outside of your senatorial district. They don’t have your interest at heart.

Take a cue from how we organised the Ijebu Agenda in 2019 and wrest power from Senator Ibikunle Amosun.

If you refused to unite, speak with one voice, present one acceptable candidate to the masses of Ogun state and jettison your personal agenda for your sectoral aspiration, the Ogun Central will take the slot from you as usual.

In order not to allow: “Yewa lo kan but Egba lo ma se,” to happen, we the opinion moulders in Ogun East will shop and encourage a credible candidate of ijebu extraction to vye for the post because it will be 44 years since Chief Olabisi Onabajo had occupied the seat on behalf of the Ijebu people.

If you think Ijebu people will fold their arms and allow you to deliberately give the slot away to Ogun Central as a result of your lack of unity, shenanigans (abosi) and selfishness, your eyes will clear.

Remember all my past warning and permutations on your aspiration always come to pass.

No senatorial district can single-handedly and constitutionally produce a governor without the contribution of other districts. It is a game of number so be warned and get your house in order.

SENATOR YAYI

Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, FCA is a moving train in our political party, APC. A force to reckon with, it is a strong permutation that he will crush all other contestants to win APC primaries and be the party flag bearer.

But there is a caveat I will like to share with his supporters and followers even though many will not believe, other will see it as a rant of a political novice while others who are devoid of political history will not even understand.

1. Ogun electorate are the most sophisticated and enlightened in Nigeria, especially those of Ogun East extraction, joke with them at your own peril.

2. Becoming a governor in Ogun state isn’t about how rich you are because those that won the 2 elections at the transition years of 2011 and 2019 aren’t the richest.

Or do you think Senator Amosun was richer than OGD during the 2011 election? Or do you think Prince Dapo Abiodun spent more than APM during the 2019 election? Think about it.

If it is about money, Hon Ladi Adebutu Oladipupo would have been governor.

3. Will the third leg out of the two musketeers break the odds and jinks and install a successor?

The the predecessors who ruled like emperor failed to install a successor, will Prince Dapo Abiodun break the jinx. I will leave that for you to decide.

One thing is certain! We as a people, don’t know who the next governor will be, or have power to install anybody as a governor ( only God knows and only Him can install) but we know those that will never be governor in our dear state in the name of Eledumare.

All the suffering orchestrated since 1999 will end in disgrace by 2027, the state will be liberated from leadership inepititude and lack of direction.

But if you like, allow hunger and suffering to take control of your action and your thinking faculty. Sell your votes to cook soup of suffering for life.

Or

Stay in your comfort zone and allow the regular hungry politicians to pick your governor and other representatives for a wade of Naira note, edibles like rice, vegetables oil semolina and others.

4. It will be height of ignorance to allow people who are disconnected from your community to come in few weeks to the election to give you money as usual to buy your conscience.

To people like us, it is the height of arrogance when you allow members of the elite who can not even party, dine or wine with you to be your leaders and represent your interest. It is the people who wear the shoe that know where it pinches.

A leader leaving in Ikoyi, Lekki or Banana Island can never understand the terrain in Eyin-Osun, Ido Eruwon, Sebora, Apunren, Atan, Odo Shimadegun and others.

These are the realities we must follow if Nigeria must survive.
