Melaye warned that the country’s leaders may soon turn to Fintech companies like Opay and Moniepoint for loans, as they continue to rack up massive amounts of debt.
The Tinubu administration has been facing increasing scrutiny over its borrowing practices, with the African Democratic Congress projecting that Nigeria’s public debt could surpass N200 trillion by the end of the year.
