Hon. Damilare Bello To Commence 5th Batch Of Free Computer Training For Youths, Undergraduates, Others In Sagamu

The Ogun State House of Assembly lawmaker representing Sagamu I (Offin) Constituency, Hon. Omooba Damilare Mohammed Bello, popularly known as DRE, has announced the commencement of the 5th batch of his Free Computer Training Programme, scheduled to begin on Monday, January 26, 2026.
The highly anticipated training will take place at his Constituency Office located on Oba Erinwole Road, Sagamu, Ogun State, and is aimed at empowering young school leavers and unemployed youths within the constituency with essential digital and computer literacy skills.
The initiative forms part of the campaign promises made by Hon. Damilare Bello during the 2023 general elections, where he pledged to empower and train about 3,000 young people within his first four-year tenure. Since assumption of office, the lawmaker has consistently demonstrated his commitment to youth development through successive batches of the programme, with hundreds of beneficiaries already equipped with valuable ICT skills.
Speaking on the programme, Hon. Bello reaffirmed his dedication to preparing Sagamu youths for the evolving digital economy, emphasizing that computer literacy is now a critical requirement for education, employment, entrepreneurship, and self-reliance.
“This programme is designed to bridge the digital divide, enhance employability, and open new opportunities for our young people. It is about building a future-ready generation,” he noted.
The free computer training provides participants with hands-on learning in basic computer operations, productivity tools, and foundational digital skills that are essential in today’s technology-driven world.
Interested applicants can obtain registration forms at the DRE Constituency Office, located at Oba Erinwole Awolesi Road, Coconut Junction, after Elders Lounge and Bar, GRA Road, Sabo, Sagamu.
