‎Governor Dapo Abiodun To Swear In New Permanent Secretaries, Statistician-General, Principals-General, And Headteachers-General In Ogun State

The Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, will on Wednesday, 21st January, 2026, administer the oath of office on newly appointed Permanent Secretaries, Statistician-General, Principals-General, and Headteachers-General in the Ogun State Public Service.

‎A statement issued by the Head of Service of Ogun State, Mr. Kehinde Onasanya, disclosed that the swearing-in ceremony will take place at the Obas’ Complex, Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, commencing at 11:00am.

‎According to the statement, the appointments cover nine (9) Permanent Secretaries, one (1) Statistician-General, two (2) Principals-General, and four (4) Headteachers-General, in furtherance of the state government’s commitment to strengthening professionalism, efficiency, and service delivery within the public service.

‎The newly appointed officers are listed as follows:

‎A. Permanent Secretaries

‎1. Mr. Abdul-Azeez Oludare Ajidele

‎2. Mrs. Olufunmilayo Yetunde Soyoye-Baker

‎3. Mrs. Adebimpe Foluso Obienu

‎4. Dr. (Mrs.) Kafayat Modupe Lawal

‎5. Mr. Ahmed Bayo Adetona

‎6. Mr. Idowu Oladapo Onasanya

‎7. Mr. Olalekan Peter Taiwo

‎8. Mr. Akintomiwa Oluwagbeminiyi Osibodu

‎9. Engr. Kehinde Olukayode Akintomide

‎B. Statistician-General

‎Mrs. Omolara Adebukola Adebayo

‎C. Principals-General

‎1. Mr. Matthew Adeyinka Osilesi (Remo Division)

‎2. Mr. Yakubu Olorunyomi Lamidi (Ijebu Division)

‎D. Headteachers-General

‎1. Mr. Benjamin Olusegun Alonge (Ijebu Division)

‎2. Mrs. Aminat Folake Busari (Remo Division)

‎4. Mrs. Folake Omolara Onabanjo (Egba Division)

‎The Head of Service further stated that members of the State Executive Council, the new appointees, and invited guests are expected to be seated at the venue by 10:30am prompt.

‎The ceremony underscores the Ogun State Government’s resolve to continuously reposition the public service for optimal performance and effective governance.
