Ikenne State Constituency 2027: Ogun Assembly Aspirant, Otunba Deolu Ayankoya Attend Historic Commissioning Of Gateway International Airport, Applaud Ogun’s Developmental Strides

Otunba Deolu Ayankoya (ODA), the leading aspirant for the Ogun State House of Assembly, Ikenne State Constituency, under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), alongside his Team ODA comprising representatives from all ten wards of Ikenne Local Government, on Saturday, April 4th, 2026, attended the official commissioning of the Gateway International Airport and other landmark projects in Ogun State.
The epoch-making event, held in Iperu-Remo within Ikenne Local Government Area, was performed by His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, marking another significant milestone in the infrastructural advancement of the state under the visionary leadership of Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON.
Speaking at the ceremony, Otunba Deolu Ayankoya commended Governor Dapo Abiodun for his unwavering commitment to delivering impactful and people-oriented projects across Ogun State. He described the Gateway International Airport and the array of commissioned projects as strategic investments that will enhance economic growth, improve connectivity, and position Ogun State as a prime destination for commerce, industry, and tourism.
ODA further highlighted the immense benefits of the projects, noting that the airport would serve as a catalyst for job creation, attract both local and international investments, and significantly boost socio-economic activities in Remo Land and beyond. He emphasized that such visionary developments not only uplift the standard of living of the people but also strengthen Ogun State’s status as a leading hub of innovation and progress in Nigeria.
