Ogun 2027: Senator Yayi’s Support Group, Doroyayi Emirates Movement, Pays Familiarization Visits To Former Ogun Speaker Kunle Oluomo, Calls For Yayi’s Endorsement

In a strategic move to bolster political support for Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as YAYI, the Doroyayi Emirates Movement, led by Director General Prince Adeshobumi Omolade, made a significant courtesy visit to former Ogun State Speaker Rt. Hon. Kunle Oluomo on Wednesday. The visit, hosted at Oluomo’s residence in Ifo, aimed not only to solidify the group’s endorsement of YAYI’s gubernatorial ambition for 2027 but also to celebrate Oluomo’s birthday.
During the meeting, Prince Omolade commended Oluomo for his exemplary legislative service and his contributions to the people of Ogun State. He emphasized the importance of uniting various political players and leaders within the state to rally behind YAYI’s candidacy. “Senator Adeola is a capable leader with a proven track record; it is imperative for all critical stakeholders in Ogun State to lend their voices and support to propel him to the governorship in 2027,” Omolade urged.
The delegation, which included prominent figures from the Doroyayi Emirates Movement, showcased a strong show of unity and purpose. Key members of the group present included Hon. Saheed Lawal, the Ogun Central Senatorial Chairman; Mrs. Aminat Amosun, the Assistant State Woman Leader; Mr. Alausa, Ifo Local Government Coordinator; and several leaders from Ifo Local Government including Mrs. Lola Amosun and Welfare Director Mrs. Lawal Aderouke, along with esteemed elder statesman Engr. Fashola.
Recognizing the importance of grassroots engagement, Rt. Hon. Oluomo graciously acknowledged the efforts of the Doroyayi Emirates Movement. “Your passion and dedication to supporting Senator YAYI are commendable. However, I urge you to maintain a focused agenda and expand your outreach to ensure every resident of Ogun State understands the importance of participating in the upcoming elections,” he stated.
Oluomo further highlighted the vital role of the Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) in the electoral process, stressing the need for every eligible citizen to obtain their card and exercise their democratic rights. “Mobilizing the public to acquire their PVCs is essential; it will empower our collective voice and strengthen our resolve towards achieving Senator YAYI’s vision for Ogun State,” he added.
As the 2027 gubernatorial election draws nearer, the Doroyayi Emirates Movement stands resolute in its mission to galvanize support for a leader they believe embodies the future of Ogun State.
