Asiwaju Seyi Odumuyiwa Strengthens Grassroots Ties With Courtesy Visit To Igede Community And Vanguard Group In Ogere Remo
The All Progressives Congress (APC) Candidate for Member, Ogun State House of Assembly, Ikenne State Constituency, 2027, Hon. (Asiwaju) Seyi Odumuyiwa, on Friday, September 4, 2026, paid a consolidation, familiarization and courtesy visit to the Igede people and the Vanguard Group in Ogere Remo, Ikenne Local Government Area of Ogun State.
The visit, which took place at the group’s base along Isiun Road in Ogere Remo, was aimed at strengthening relationships, deepening grassroots engagement and fostering unity among communities and stakeholders across the constituency. The Vanguard Group, led by Archbishop Ashaye, warmly received Hon. Odumuyiwa and his entourage.
The APC candidate was accompanied by several prominent political leaders and party stalwarts from Ikenne Local Government, including the former Chairman of Ikenne Local Government, Hon. Segun Ogunleye, Hon. Kola Odusanya, Hon. Tunde Kehinde, Hon. Azeez Olusola, and other respected dignitaries.
The visit further demonstrated Hon. Seyi Odumuyiwa’s commitment to inclusive engagement, grassroots consultation and building strong relationships with various groups and communities within Ikenne State Constituency, as preparations continue toward the 2027 political season.
