Ogun first Lady, Mrs. Bamidele Abiodun, has won the coveted crown of the African Iconic Woman of the Year 2024.
She garnered a total of 2,228 votes representing 31 percent of the total vote cast to defeat others.
The online voting which lasted for several weeks have since been collated upon successful completion of process.
Bamidele Abiodun has now grabbed the coveted prize of African Iconic Women Recognition Awards (AIWRA) 2024 as African Iconic Woman of the year.

Addressing newsmen shortly after the release of the preliminary result in Abuja, the Project Director of FDN, Alexander Ajagbonna, better known as Fajag expressed gratitud e with the performances of all the nominees, saying they are all winners.
According to him, all the nominees did their best to mobilize their supporters to vote in the online voting exercise.
The winners will be decorated on May 23 at Congress Hall of Transcorp Hilton Hotel Abuja.
