As Christians in Ogun State and across the globe celebrate Easter, Prince Gbenga Banwo (Babangida), arpa, Special Adviser to the Governor on Housing, has called upon citizens to embrace the spirit of selflessness and sacrifice as essential ingredients for the state’s continued development.
In his Easter message, released on Sunday, April 20th, 2025, Prince Banwo highlighted the significance of the season, noting it as a time for reflection on the profound love and sacrifice exemplified by Jesus Christ. He underscored the teachings of love, commitment to purpose, and the willingness to make even difficult sacrifices as central to the Easter message.”
As we commemorate this season, we give thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ, who teaches us to love one another, to be committed to our purpose in life, and to make sacrifices—even difficult ones,” Prince Banwo stated.
Drawing attention to the lasting impact of one’s actions, Babangida urged citizens to heed these vital lessons during the Easter celebration. “Knowing fully well that we will all be remembered for our work during our lifetimes, I want us to heed these lessons as we celebrate this season,” he emphasized.
