Ikenne APC Inaugurates Campaign Committees, As Hon. Seyi Odumuyiwa Tasks Team On Grassroots Mobilisation, Assures Quality Representation
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ikenne Local Government, under the leadership of Hon. Seidu, on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, inaugurated its 2027 campaign committees at the party Secretariat in Ikenne, Ogun State.
Welcoming party leaders, campaign directors and committee members, Hon. Seidu urged them to approach the assignment with commitment and responsibility.
Speaking on behalf of the party leaders, the Ikenne APC Apex Leader, Baba Sodiyan, charged the newly inaugurated committees to uphold discipline, strengthen their strategies and work collectively towards the party’s objectives across the various electoral contests.
The Director-General of the campaign, Hon. Dapo, expressed appreciation for the confidence reposed in him and called for unity and cooperation among all directors and committee members, assuring that a coordinated approach would be pursued.
The Ikenne Local Government Executive Chairman, Hon. Jamiu Asimi, also congratulated the committees and urged them to remain focused on their responsibilities.
Also speaking, the APC candidate for Ikenne State Constituency in the 2027 Ogun State House of Assembly election, Hon. Asiwaju Seyi Odumuyiwa, congratulated the newly inaugurated committees and appreciated the party leadership for entrusting him with its mandate. He called for collective commitment to the campaign efforts and pledged that, if elected, he would prioritise effective representation, quality legislation and initiatives aimed at delivering tangible value to constituents across Ikenne State Constituency.
