“Now I’m Very Dangerous: My Capacity Outstrips Any Governor’s By 10x” — Minister Of Works Dave Umahi Declares

In a compelling address to the youths and residents of his home community, Ngbo, the Minister of Works, David Umahi, asserted his renewed commitment to their development, declaring that his capacity now exceeds even that of a state governor.
During an interactive session with community members, Umahi called for unity, urging the people to dismiss what he termed “noise makers” and to recognize him as one of their own. “You must accept me as one of your own. Don’t listen to noise makers. My capacity is ten times what it was when I was governor,” he emphasized boldly.
The former governor of Ebonyi State conveyed his determination and influence in his current role, stating, “I’m very, very dangerous now. Let nobody fall on me because the cost is very dangerous.” His remarks drew enthusiastic applause from the audience, reflecting their support for his assertive leadership style.
Seeking to engage those present, Umahi frequently asked, “Nnoo nu o?” meaning “Are you there?”, as he encouraged his audience to remain attentive and energized by his message.
Emphasizing the importance of collective progress, he called upon the prominent sons and daughters of Ngbo to collaborate for the betterment of their community. “We have the capacity to do good things for the Ngbo people. Come together. Tell your sons and daughters—very illustrious and industrious—to unite and approach me. Whatever their needs, they will be addressed,” he stated.
Umahi also acknowledged the significant role of his family in supporting community development, highlighting their financial capabilities to contribute to major projects. “This Umahi family has been blessed abundantly and is capable of funding anything,” he remarked, assuring the audience that they are eager to support communal initiatives. “If you ask them to contribute, they will contribute, and they will over-contribute,” he reassured the gathering.
In a call to action, Umahi’s message resonated with hope and a strong sense of community, reinforcing his commitment to driving development initiatives for the people of Ngbo.
