OGUN 2023: Sagamu APC Youth League Endorse & Drums Support For Segun Shitta 2023 Re-election Bid, As Youth Executives Paid Courtesy Visit To The Lawmaker
In a bid to drive ideas that will be beneficial to the youth development in Sagamu Constituencies and its environs, the leadership of the APC Youth League Sagamu Chapter, led by Comr. Hammed Sunmola (a.k.a TANTALA) paid a courtesy visit to the Ogun Deputy Leader and Lawmaker representing Sagamu Constituency 1 at the State Assembly, Hon. Abdul Bashir Oladunjoye (a.k.a SEGUN SHITTA).
In a statement made available to newsmen at Genesis Media House; the visit, which holds today Friday, August 19th 2022, at the Sagamu Constituency office of the Legislator, also had the likes of Prince Samson Onasoga, Hon. (Mrs.) Modinat Atitebi, Hon. (Mrs.) Biliksu Ajayi, Hon. (Mrs.) Abimbola Dauda and other executives of the Sagamu APC Youth League in attendance.
Prince Onasoga the Local Government Secretary of the League in his introduction thanked the Legislator for his audience and further introduced the house to the Lawmaker, while the LG Coordinator of the League, Comr. Hammed Sunmola in his speech, congratulated the Lawmaker on his emergence as the Ogun State House Of Assembly candidate of the party and on his successful verification by INEC for the 2023 general elections.
While speaking, Tantala said: “on behalf of the APC Youth League Sagamu Chapter and all other Youths of APC, we endorse Hon. Abdul Bashir Oladunjoye – Segun Shitta as our 2023 candidate for OGHA, Sagamu Constituency 1. Our Candidate is a youth, therefore he understands everything both the said and the unsaid and we do know that with him, there is no cause for alarm”.
Abimbola in her speech, seek for better Youth opportunities for the League from the Lawmaker and also urge the Legislator not to forget the Youth League in all areas when selecting his campaigns committee when the door opens and beyond, while Mrs. Bilikisu noted that all the Youth are particularly excited because Hon. Segun Shitta is young, brilliant, resourceful, energetic and a round peg in a round hole, who would add another developmental values to Sagamu more than before.
In his response, the Legislator appreciated God for His mercies and also thanked the Youth League for their unalloyed loyalty and support to him and the party, APC, at large. He promised to do his best possible to ensure that the Youth League and all other Youths in Sagamu enjoy the dividends of democracy in this administration and beyond.
