In a spirited gathering filled with aspirations for progress and unity, Oyeleke Folajuwon Oluwole, a leading aspirant for the House of Representatives seat for Remo Constituency under the All Progressives Congress (APC), convened a familiarization meeting on March 13, 2025, with key party leaders from Remo North Local Government in Ogun State.

The meeting took place at the APC Party Secretariat in Isara Remo, where Oluwole outlined his aspirations for the forthcoming 2025 elections and reaffirmed his commitment to the party and the people.

The event was graced by notable APC leaders, including Chief Ladejobi – Remo North APC Party Chairman, Mr. Lekan Owolewa – Youth Leader, Mrs. Motunrayo – Secretary, APC Representatives from Remo North at the State Level, All Ward Chairmen, and other influential party stakeholders across Remo North.

As a mark of respect, Oluwole called for a moment of silence in honor of the late Rt. Hon. Adewunmi Oriyomi Onanuga (Ijaya). Expressing gratitude for the warm reception, he described his visit as a “homecoming,” emphasizing his deep-rooted ties to both Isara Remo and Sagamu through his paternal grandmother.

Reiterating his commitment to APC’s values and vision, Oluwole urged party leaders and members to rally behind him as he seeks to become the party’s candidate for the House of Representatives.

In his remarks, Chief Ladejobi, the APC Chairman of Remo North, praised Oluwole’s courage, vision, and political lineage, acknowledging his family’s longstanding contributions to the party. “Oyeleke is not only a capable young leader but also comes from a family with a strong political heritage. His mother’s contributions to our party inspire confidence in his ability to serve our people. I encourage everyone to support his aspirations.”

Similarly, Leader Adeniyi expressed appreciation for the large turnout and overwhelming support for Oluwole, offering prayers for his success.

Following his meeting with party leaders, Oluwole and his team paid a courtesy visit to His Royal Highness, Alayeluwa Oba Albert Adebose Mayungbe, the Odemo of Isara Remo, at his residence in Isara Remo.

During the visit, Oluwole formally presented his aspirations to contest for the House of Representatives seat for Remo Land under the APC platform. He humbly sought the royal blessings and support of the revered monarch, acknowledging his family’s historical ties and respected legacy in Isara Remo.

In response, Oba Mayungbe welcomed Oluwole and his team, expressing joy at his ambition to represent Remo Land at the national level. “Your family has a strong and respected background in Isara Remo. I appreciate your dedication to serving the people, and I pray for your success in achieving this mandate.” The Kabiyesi’s blessings further solidified traditional support for Oluwole’s political aspirations.

As the 2025 bye-elections approach, Oluwole remains focused on uniting the Remo Constituency under a shared vision of progress, effective representation, and development at the national level. His engagements with party leaders and traditional rulers mark a significant step in his political journey.

While he remains an aspirant, Oluwole continues to work diligently to earn the trust and support of party members and community leaders as he seeks to emerge as the APC candidate for the House of Representatives seat for Remo Constituency.
